Artisan Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roastery that sources and roasts premium single-origin coffees from around the world. They needed a brand identity that would communicate their commitment to quality, sustainability, and artisanal craftsmanship.
As the brand designer, I developed a complete visual identity that captures the essence of specialty coffee culture. The design needed to work across packaging, signage, digital platforms, and merchandise while maintaining authenticity.
The brand identity draws inspiration from coffee's journey from bean to cup, incorporating warm earth tones, tactile textures, and elegant typography. The logo mark represents the coffee cherry, symbolizing the brand's dedication to sourcing the finest beans.
Since the rebrand, Artisan Coffee Co. has expanded from a local roastery to a regional brand available in 50+ retail locations. Their wholesale business has grown by 200%, and customer recognition has increased significantly.
The custom wordmark combines elegance with approachability. The logo mark, featuring an abstract coffee cherry design, represents the brand's focus on quality sourcing and artisanal craftsmanship.
The warm color palette includes rich browns, cream tones, and accent greens representing the coffee plant. Each coffee variety has its own signature color for easy product differentiation.
Sustainable packaging features distinctive patterns for each origin, along with detailed tasting notes and sourcing information. The design communicates the unique story behind each coffee.
The brand identity extends to the physical retail space, including signage, menu boards, and interior design elements that create an immersive coffee experience.
The website and social media presence maintain the artisanal feel while providing modern e-commerce functionality. Content showcases the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability.
Consistent collateral including business cards, stationery, and promotional materials reinforce the brand identity across all touchpoints.
