LearnHub is an online learning platform that connects students with expert instructors across various subjects. The platform offers interactive courses, live sessions, and a personalized learning experience powered by adaptive technology.
As the lead web designer, I focused on creating an engaging learning environment that keeps students motivated while providing instructors with powerful tools to deliver effective education. The design balances aesthetic appeal with functional excellence.
Key features include a personalized course recommendation engine, interactive video player with note-taking capabilities, progress tracking, and a community forum for peer-to-peer learning. The platform also supports instructor dashboards for course management.
Since launch, LearnHub has served over 100,000 students and hosted more than 500 courses. The platform has achieved a 92% student satisfaction rate and average course completion rate of 78%.
Research included student interviews to understand learning preferences, pain points with existing platforms, and motivation factors. We also analyzed competitor platforms to identify opportunities for differentiation.
The course catalog features intuitive search and filtering, personalized recommendations, and engaging course previews. Students can preview content, read reviews, and make informed enrollment decisions.
The video player includes playback speed controls, chapter navigation, note-taking functionality, and progress saving. The interface is designed to minimize distractions and maximize learning engagement.
Students can track their learning journey with visual progress indicators, achievement badges, and personalized insights. The dashboard motivates continued learning through goal-setting features.
Instructors have powerful tools to create and manage courses, view student analytics, and engage with their audience. The streamlined workflow enables efficient course creation and updates.
The responsive design ensures learning can happen anywhere. The mobile app provides offline viewing, push notifications for engagement, and a streamlined mobile-first learning experience.
